Today, Phillip Car guides the company with that same uncompromising devotion. In a small workshop in Brașov, Romania, a tight-knit team crafts fewer than 1,500 pairs of shoes per year in a familial atmosphere. In over 400 individual steps of pure, masterful handwork, they create far more than just footwear, a wearable piece of art.
