MJ'S DETAILS

As a unique feature of its in-house production, the Scottish knitting mill uses an exclusive yarn made from a blend of lambswool and cashmere. Its collection of vintage knitting machines allows McGeorge to knit with the same yarn thickness and fabric texture as it did 60 years ago. Tradition as a model for the future!

Likewise, the two styles we’ve curated have a legendary history. According to this history, style icon Steve McQueen had his personal favorite pieces made at McGeorge’s knitting workshop. One was the traditional Aran cable-knit sweater, and the other was his particularly beloved shawl cardigan.
