MJ'S DETAILS

The B3 model,worn by the U.S. Air Force in the 1940s, is one of the most iconic winter flight jackets. The jacket kept pilots warm, and the reinforced sleeves protected them from the rough interiors of the cockpits. The patch pocket, which provided pilots with space for their “Lucky Strike” pack and their “Zippo” lighter, underscores this iconic status.

Chapal has modernized this jacket and crafted it from luxurious, naturally vegetable-tanned leather lined with sheepskin. A jacket that’s a style icon, crafted to last a lifetime and develop its own character as it’s worn. Much like a Patek Philippe, it’s a piece you can pass down to the next generation.

Michael Jondral and Chapal have formed a special partnership, and this jacket was produced exclusively for MJ in dark brown—a departure from the two-tone original. Only the open patch pocket is finished in cognac brown to provide a contrast.
