The manufactory’s roots lie at the foot of the Alps, which shapes the brand’s DNA to this day: Paraboot is one of the very few manufacturers worldwide that still vulcanizes its own rubber soles in its own workshops. Combined with the elaborate Norwegian welt (Cousu Norvégien)—a technique originally developed for mountaineering and work boots—the result is a shoe that is absolutely waterproof, extremely durable, and incomparably comfortable.
